Daily Worship and Prayers


Daily Puja -


There is formal worship in the morning, starting with Mangal Arati at 5am. Daily Puja is between 7 - 9am, Bhog between 11am - 12noon (food offering) and Arati (evening vespers) at sunset. The meditation hall of the main temple allows devotees to engage in three different forms of “upasana” (sitting near God) - meditation, worship, and bhajan (congregational singing).

Satsanga -


Weekly satsanga is held on Sunday morning from 8 - 9:30am on Recitation of Strotras and Discourse on Swami Vivekananda's 'Jnana Yoga', Also on Sunday evening from 7 - 8pm on Shri Ramakrishna Vachanamrita. A special Satsanga is held on every first Sunday of Month from moring 8 - 12:30 noon based on Spirtitual Retreat.



Special Puja & Celebrations -


Special Puja (Havan seen in photo) with many different items (Shodashopachara) is usually performed on special utsavs. Special Puja on Utsavs: On festive days likes the Jayanthis of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swamiji, Guru Purnima, Gokulashtami, Durgashtami, Mahashivratri and Rama Navami, special Puja is conducted. Gokulashtami and Mahashivratri special Pujas are done in the evenings, after the vesper service of Sri Ramakrishna.
